Therefore, there are marks, color and texture variations, and striations/creases which are inherent and NOT flaws!!! Vegetable tanned leather naturally develops a patina over time (i.e. darkens), which gives it a warm vintage appeal. It will further warm over time with the oil in your skin and the Environment. Each piece of leather is unique, so each bag is uniquely yours. As far as condition goes, there are a few light scratches on the leather because this leather is highly susceptible to scuffs and marks. Clean inside and out and in what I would call new condition. There may be other scratches on the hardware and otherwise, but I have tried to describe what I see.You MUST understand this type of leather BEFORE you make the purchase, so please don\'t hesitate to contact me with questions.
