Fantastic Coach bag - - this is made in what is called BBG leather - Baseball Glove Leather - it is very soft but it is a thicker substantial leather - like a saddle leather- the kind that gets more and more beautiful as it ages - - there is not a lot of finishing on this leather so it is very very natural in feel and in appearance. It does show scratches but you can usually use a leather cream - -This is a small hobo size with great big features - - there is a signature Coach buckle on the front tab ( it actually uses a mag snap for closure) - -there are 2 large brass 0 rings which attach the two tubular handles - these handles have a great feature of grommets and lacing - there are flat studs and grommets on the bag as well.This is an awesome bag - I do not see this style around at all - the color gets darker around the seams - which gives this leather a lot of dimension - - there are some surface scratches but again this does not detract from the bag - if anything it adds to it - -
