Condition: Plastic. Never used, never displayed, no chips, no defects, no crazing.
The Ornament are in perfect as new condition. Your valuable collectible is well packed, protected and in great shape! This Item comes in original box, the decorated outer box shows wear from being in a retail warehouse. The box is intact - not crunched anywhere - but the red is worn in some spots.
This collection of 4 classic ornaments features the art of Haddon Sunblom, who created the iconic image of Coca-Cola\'s Santa Claus. Sunblom\'s art, which first appeared in 1931, cemented the idea of a jolly bearded man in a red and white suit, toting a bag of presents for good children, forever in our minds and hearts at Christmastime. The four ornaments are Santa in a comfy chair, removing his boots after a hard day\'s work; Santa taking a break on a bar stool with a Coke in one hand and a bunny toy in the other; Santa sitting on the floor, surrounded by a toy train; and Santa with a young girl enjoying a bottle of Coca-Cola.From the box: \"While the legend of Santa Claus dates back many centuries, the real Santa that we have all come to know and love is a relatively young fellow after all, dating back slightly less than 60 years to 1931 when he appeared for the first time in advertising for The Coca-Cola Company. It was then that the late artist Haddon Sundblom, an employee of The Coca-Cola Company, transformed the \"jolly old elf\" described in Clement C. Moore\'s 1823 poem, \"Twas the Night Before Christmas\" into a lovable, realistic, flesh and blood symbol of the holiday spirit. Santa became a human being, but one graced with immortality and dedicated to the happiness of children, a true patron saint of the season.
