c1880\'s beautiful, mottled Victorian fireplace tile. Enough for a complete fireplace surround. The layout shown, without grout, is approx 35.5\" tall x 36.5\" wide with inner opening approx. 29.5\" tall x 24.5\" wide. It can also be set up in other ways. Listing for tile only. All tiles are shown in pics. The tiles have original glazing, crazing, flea bites, chips and vintage patina expected of 100+ year old tile. There are a few bits of mortar/grey paint on some of the edges. Overall great condition for age. Approx. 4 pcs split during deconstruction. The colors are mottled, monochromatic shades of pale blush and coffee and cream with hints of pale sky blue. The two medallion tiles and field tiles are marked A. E. Tile Co, on back. They were all manufactured by the American Encaustic Tile Co. The tile is from an 1890\'s home. Please see all photos. All pieces are shown.
