Here is a wonderful 3 gallon jug marked \" COWDEN & WILCOX / HARRISBURG. PA\". The jug has a nice semi ovoid shape and retains a nice bright cobalt floral decoration under the incised \"3\". The maker\'s mark, capacity, and handle terminals each retain their original cobalt. This is a nice display size jug, measuring 14\" tall. There is a small chip to the base, and it appears as though a previous owner filled in the pops that occur in firing with some restorative substance. There is also minimal cobalt loss to the base of the floral decoration. It retains it\'s glaze very nicely.
I accept returns in 14 days with the buyer responsible for paying shipping costs. This is a large fragile piece, and will be well packed and shipped via UPS.
