This is a pair of vintage / antique Trifari clip on earrings. The patent that was eventually granted for these earrings was patent # 170,217 granted to Alfred Philippe forTrifari, Krussman & Fishel Inc.on Aug 18, 1953. They are part of Trifari\'s \"Skylark\" group and shown in the 1953 Trifari advertisement \"Her Favorite Santa Gives Her Jewels by Trifari\". They are made up of baguette, marquise and round rhinestones glue set in a platinum toned Trifanium. They would be great to add to your collection or to wear!I am listing the beautiful matching brooch separately!
Size:They are approximately 7/8 inches tall and 1 inch wide
Markings:Signed \"TRIFARI\" with a crown over the \"T\" and \"Design Pat Pend\" on the top of the clips
Closure:Clip on style earrings
Condition:All the rhinestones are present but one of the tiny ones looks like it was glued back in. The metal has only slight wear - these earrings are ingreatcondition for jewelry that is over 60 years old!
