Stunning, ca 1790 Duesbury Derby porcelain, 5.5\" x 9.5\" oblong tray with reticulated handles.
There is a lavish floral reserve, shell pink rim and meticulous and copious swags and pinstripes.
As per its faults:
• Obvious loss areas to the gold garlanding the reserve
• A glazed over, pencil- point divit( red flower)
• Fine utensil marks
• A tiny hair or paint brush bristle is baked under the glaze ( towards the well of the tray.. it is light.
• A few kiln inclusions on the bottom
This bears the puce crown/ swords/ \"D\" mark, as well as a numerical mark.
