This is a nice pair of Community Plate silver salt and pepper shakers dating to the 1930\'s and 1940\'s. They are all properly hallmarked and were made a top quality silver plate maker.
Shakers are good condition given they are silver plate and over time all suffer from salt and moisture. I have polished the shakers which is the only way to find out where there is tarnish and corrosion that won\'t come out. I see most of the silver on is not polished and you can expect surprises.
These shakers weigh about 130 grams each. Lids are screw on type. Interior is relatively clean. Height is about 4 1/4\" tall.
