Rare Vintage circa 1950 Kay-made Sherwood Deluxe archtop Acoustic Guitar == Top-line Kay archtop from Montgomery Ward\'s Sherwood brand == Solid spruce up, beautiful Curly Maple back and sides, Kluson Deluxe no hole Pat Pend tuners, original pickguard, multi-ply binding, split-block inlays, fancy headstock overlay, bound neck, bound F-holes == VG+ or better condition with light wear, some finish wear back of neck, very light fret wear -- outer ply of binding has deterioration in spots -- separation at neck heel (seems solid) and heel cap missing with an added strap button there -- and I think the bottom metal strap button was added in place of the missing original button -- action quite playable at a hair under 5/32\" 12th fret == And it sounds DARN GOOD this baby loves to be driven with a plectrum -- as it was designed to be -- loud and balanced == This is very similar to the Kay K45 and K48 Master-size guitars == Sorry, no case -- double-boxed and insured for shipping
