Original early Foot Soldiers metal helmet, worn from the late 16th and through the 17th century, this example has been raised from a single piece of steel, and the hammer marks are still visible, it has a high crown with the typical pear stem, it has a narrow rolled brim, with original brass a steel stud decoration above some missing, please note damage to the slight damage to the crown with aged repair
