Up for sale we have a rare, vintage Calkins Breakfaster Model T2 from the Calkins Appliance Company in Niles, MI. It was only manufactured for two years, between 1936-1938 and has great looking art deco styling. The shell and interior are aluminum with Bakelite handles. A drawer pulls out to insert a piece of bread for toasting. On top there is a hotplate where a pot or pan could be placed. The plug itself appears to need work so we have not tested the units functionality and are selling this for display purposes only. Please see the photos for more detail.
