This is Canon L glass so its the top of the line for Canon. And you can feel it. Its a really nice lens. It has Auto focus and electronic Aperture. It has a maximum Aperture of f2.8 I really like it. Its the ultimate Macro lens. It does have some damage though, more than just average wear and tear it has a piece of the filter thread missing and a scape. as picture. But I don\'t think you are going to lose any functionality. It looks like filters should go on just fine. Also it has Image Stabilization witch is awesome for Macro shots. It also serves as a good portrait lens or any other telephoto applications. It does not come with a front lens cap, but does have a canon rear cap.
