Description: We are pleased to offer this Capodimonte Rare”Tramp and Gamp – Barbone” Figurine By Giuseppe Cappe Italy. It\'s raining again but the old trampis fortified by his tatty umbrella and salami sandwich. He has seenbetter days but he knows the sun will shine again and his boots will dry out.Giuseppe Cappé is widely known as one of the best Capodimonte sculptors. Itscrafted by G.Cappé is signed by him as you can see in the picture. Cappé is anartist who has taken inspiration from the ranks of the great Italianbarocco-alessandra folk tradition of which the stuccos by Serpotta (Palermo),the Capodimonte Works and the Neapolitan precursors are the typical andwell-known examples. Cappé is an artist who has been creating from1946and his works have had so much success.

Measures: 7” inches tall, 9” incheslong.

Condition: It is in Very Good Condition Overall...no chips, cracks,crazing or signs of repairs of any kind, (see pictures).

This Figurine would make a beautiful display piece and will make a greataddition to your collection.
