Carlton Ware English Vintage circa 1950\'s, Salad Set of 4 pcs.
It is in excellent condition no chips, no crazing, no cracks.One plate ( the round shape one) has two tiny flaws / or flea bites on one of the tomatoes, see my photo # 8, with the marker pen. I think they are manufacturing flaws, but I am not sure !You will note, the underside of these plates are in excellent condition for it\'s age, one plate has a different color stamping to the others, but it is Carlton Ware.... perhaps it is an earlier or later plate made by the company.Also, some of the tomatoes are different red colors, on the various plates
The set can be used as a salad sever, or for relish dishes, for cheese and crackers, is it very versatile.
It is great set for Al Fresco dining, or for a picnic, or just for display.
There are numerous plates that make up this set, I have four that belonged to a member of my family. I am selling some of the estate items.
They would make a great gift or perfect for the collector of Carlton Ware.
