This is a Carltonware Temple Jar shape 130 in the Fighting Glade pattern number 4212 in a Ruby Lustre glaze.
The jar measures 12 1/2 inches tall when the lid is in place and 9 1/2 inches without the lid.
A very nice piece of Carlton Ware - unfortunately it has been repaired.
The restoration is to the neck and rim of the jar andis reasonably good, with the exception of the final glaze and gilding, which does not match factory quality.Please check out all the pictures.There is no other damage to the jar and the lid is in good order.
This is still a very pretty, displayable piece of Carlton Ware in a pattern that is not particularly common.
