On offer here is a lovely little Carlton Ware, Rouge royale \"Shell\" Vase. As the pattern/shape name suggests this little vase is beautifully shaped like a cornucopia Shell. The overall ground color is a rich and glossy rouge on the outside, with a mother of pearl like finish on the inside. The outline of the cornucopia and the top and base rims are richly trimmed in gold.On the underside base is the black script mark \"Carlton Ware, Made In England, Trade Mark, Rouge Royale\".The impressed shape number is 1979.

This vase is in excellent, near perfect condition, with the only minor issue being very slight glaze crazing on the inside. There is no crazing visible on the outside. Even the gold trim is perfect.There are No chips; No cracks; No scratches; and No discoloration. The pattern is perfectly intact and the colors are rich, clean and vibrant. There are no signs of any repair or restoration, as far as I can tell.
