This is a lovely antique vintage or vintage sterling silver 925 ring with a carnelian banded agate heart gemstone. The ornate beadwork or beaded border and twisted rope accents surrounding the bezel set agate are definitely Southwest perhaps Native American Navajo in origin.

The agate is stunning rich in carnelian red and a lovely linear pattern with translucent and opaque bands. The heart measures 7/8 inches high. The ring is for a petite finger or small hand as it measures a small size 5.
