A 1972 retro Caro-Nan signed painted wood lid and woven basket purse with a hometown/travel motif made for Emily Dickerson. The hardware is standing up well, the inside lining which is quilted, red checkered where it looks like something spilled and lightened up the red. I have cleaned it to see if it was something that would come up, but it looks permanent. The purse is losing some of its paint and it looks like somebody did a touch up job on it, the underside handle shows that it has been used. I didn\'t touch up the purse as to leave the integrity intact. I\'ll leave that up to the buyer to decide.
