A well composed impressionist depiction of a Paris street scene with figures.
Typical of Burnett\'s work, this one notable for its finely rendered colour and depth of field, lending a sense of \'being there\', so to speak.
Signed, \'\'Burnett\'\' lower right.The condition of both the painting and frame is excellent.
Approximate dimensions are: 12\'\' x 15 1/2\'\' (30cm x 40cm). Housed in good gilt frame, ready to hang.The Artist:Born in the United States,Caroline Burnettwasknown to be in Paris in the early part of her career, which was late 19th and early 20th century. She was a member of the Societe des Beaux-Arts in Paris and exhibited with the Societe Nationale des Beaux Arts in Paris in 1898.
