This is pure natural Gem Grade malachite hand crafted from the Congo. The weight is superb. The detail wonderful. The color is A+ and the pattern is among the finest patterns available. Great care is taken to select the Malachite as it is many times hand mined with shovel and pick in the hot sun. Then the pieces of malachite are washed and selected for color, pattern and density. They are then checked for cracks and fractures.

Once selected the carvers use tools to carve away the material and shape the piece into a choice piece that flows with the grain color and pattern. It is then hand polished to a brilliant finish.
