This knife for sale is a 1994 issue Case John Wayne American Hero Genuine Stag Trapper, 4 1/8\" closed, with beautiful matching Genuine Stag (deer stag) scales and nickel silver bolsters. This Case Trapper was issued to honor the life of John Wayne, The Duke.This Case John Wayne Trapper is housed in a deluxe presentation box with the insert reading \"John Wayne An American Hero 1907 - 1979\". Both of the blades are deep etched in multi color, the master Clip with a likeness of John Wayne, John Wayne\'s signature, and reading John Wayne Give \'Em Hell John.
The Spey blade is deep etch with \"John Wayne American Hero\", and an American Flag. The front nickel silver pocket end bolster is serial numbered with #017.
This Case John Wayne Trapper is tang stamped on the master Clip blade with Case XX USA with 6 Dots, dating it as a 1994 issue Case knife, while the front tang of the Spey blade is pattern stamped with 5254 SS. Both blades have good \"walk and talk\" snap.
