Cased Antique ALBERT BAKER Calabash 18CT GOLD Plated Meerschaum Estate Pipe Pipa:

Here we have a wonderful antique Albert Baker calabash gourd Sherlock Holmes style estate pipewith 18ct Gold plated ferrule and bowl rim, andmeerschaum bowl lining.It is complete in its original fitted presentation case printed with \"Albert Baker & Co Ltd\" onthe interior.
The gold-plated aspects are both stamped \"AB&Co\", followed by \"18ct G.P\".
The pipe is in very good condition overall - the stem is stuck to the shank, so cannot be removed -and the gold plating on the bowl rim has some wear (see photos 7 & 8) - also one bitemark on thestem.The calabash is in excellent condition.
There is a deep layer of carbon in the chamber.Air flows through the pipe freely.
The case is in very good condition, though it no longer fixes shut.
