DOWNSIZING MY COLLECTION OF RUSSIAN ITEMS:
Purchased this set of spoons from Sloans and Kenyon sale house in Bethesda, MD several years ago.
This is set of 6 Russian silver and enamel spoons in a hard case. Each spoon is 4 5/8\" long. The hallmarks are for St. Petersburg ca. 1903 -1917 and the maker is Henrik Wigstrom. 1862 -1923 active 1903-1907, Postnikova-Loeseva.
The spoons are in very good condition but there are some areas of enamel either lost or just missing (not put in the first place). I did not want to affect the finish on these so I did not polish. See pictures for details and also the hallmarks on the stem of the spoons.
The case is in good condition - one of the hinges is missing a pin.
