Cast iron heating vent. Probably late 19th. Century. This is an original not a reproduction. There are no foundry marks or other markings on the vent. The vent has a fully functioning louvers to block or allow air flow. The vent is 8 1/2\" in diameter. This vent would fit into a 8\" pipe with about a 3/4\" flange to cover the opening. This vent could be left as is or could be refinished. It would make a nice working vent or a piece of wall art.
