Here is a Radiological Dosimeter Charger CDV-750 Model 6 with 1 Bendix Dosimeter CDV-742 0-200R. This charger does not require a battery to work. It is much quicker and easier to use than the older model chargers. The operation of the large swing lever produces the charge needed..the little black button can discharge..setting a dosimeter to Zero.Perfect for long-term emergency or prepper storage necessary in survival kits, shelters, or in facilities. No batteries ever needed. Perfect for a Civil Defense Victory collectors display shelf.This unit gave me a zap once. But, I may have touched the metal of the lever not covered by the insulating shrink plastic. These chargers may not allow enough protection for safe-operation by users that have heart problems or pacemakers. I am not an expert on these chargers and am selling this item as a \'collectible not for official use\'..as a \'display item\' since I cannot verify its proper function, accuracy, or safety.
