A rare, collectible piece of Naval memorabilia from Lamb\'s.This is a ceramic decanter containing Lamb\'s 100 Navy Rum, a high proof Guyanese rum which has been bottled at 57% ABV.The decanter features a painting of the HMS Victory, the fine vessel that was Lord Nelson\'s Flagship in the battle of Trafalgar in 1805.Qty-17.0\" TALL ( APPROX. 19.0 CM).BOTTOM 4.6\" all side.CORK IS MISSING NOT AVAILABLE WITH THIS OFFER.

Alfred Lambis one of the greatest names in the history of rum, having created LAMB\'S RUM in 1849, blended from 18 different rums, sourced from various islands in theCaribbean. The rum was adopted as the drink of choice by the British Navy and distributed in rations to all aboard Her Majesty\'s Royal Fleet. This practice was still continued up until 31st of July 1970.

There is a lot of detail and wonderfulcoloringon this beautiful decanter by SETON POTTERY. This one depicts HMS VICTORY on the front with the Royal Flags at either side.

On the back, encased in a goldcoloredsurround in navy italics, is a short history of HMS VICTORY and a picture of one side of Victory\'s Figurehead. It shows one cupid supporting the Royal Coat of Arms surmounted by the Royal Crown. Beneath that it states,\'THE ALFRED LAMB\'S VICTORIAN SHIPS COLLECTION. United Rum Merchants Ltd. and a signature in red of the said Alfred Lamb.
