How rare to find antique estate jewels with so much dazzle and quality! These earrings have the most wonderful combination of the 30 CTs of beautifully carved natural gems with gorgeous diamond tops and the linked green and white enamel bar! These earrings are worthy of the fine collections of antique jewelry in the Victoria and Albert Museum in London and the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston.The design of the earrings is gorgeous, gorgeous, gorgeous! The centerpiece of the earrings are the stunning carved natural pear shaped gems. These stunning jewels are each approximately 15 CTs and weigh approximately 3 grams each! They are pear shaped and carved with a floral motif on them. They have the most gorgeous green color! They hang from an articulated bar which is adorned with the most beautiful enamel in emerald green and white - oh I just love this exquisite detail. At the tops are 2 beautiful diamonds of great quality. These diamonds are each approximately 1/4 Ct for a total diamond weight of approximately 1/2 Ct. These diamonds are superb with the wonderful fire and sparkle of the antique diamonds! They are eye clean and very very white. These diamonds are approximately G-H color and VS clarity. As all three sections of the earrings are articulated, they hang beautifully and the jewels shimmer in the light! I believe they date to the Art Deco period, c1910-1930 although they could be earlier or later.These are wonderful earrings with all the features of the antique estate jewels that we love, quality, drama, sparkle, and true investment quality!! The condition of the earrings is excellent. The diamonds are in excellent condition. The chalcedony are in excellent condition. They are slightly different color and translucency as can be seen in the photos. This is typical with the antique jewels. The gold and enamel is in excellent condition. The earrings are 54 mm (2 1/8 inches) long. The chalcedony are 18 mm by 12 mm at the widest portion. The diamond centered posts at the top are 5 mm in diameter. Together the earrings weigh 9.1 grams.
