A stunning little postal scale dating to around 1890 made from wooden base which can be leveled with the aid of the brass screw level to the right hand side,The scale is made from a combination of polished brass and nickel which has been professionally re-polished to give a gleaming finish to the front. The pan is removable making it easy to travel with or store. The weight measurements on the front are of course grams as this example was clearly meant to remain on the continent. The front is signed E.W.A charming addition to a scale collection or a perfect desk-top accessory.
