Charming Charles HORNER Floral Enamel BROOCH Pin St Silver C1915. FAB Condition:

Fabulous little brooch by the well known silversmith Charles Horner. Oval in form with a central raised enamel panel with a floral design on a silvery grey background. Surrounding the panel the silver is simply decorated with raised dots that beautifully enhance the picture they enclose.

Hallmarked: raised markings \'sterling silver\' and stylised combined C on top of H which Charles Horner used from 1915.

Size: a petite 30 x 17mm oval.

Condition: fabulous gently used condition. Some patination, no obvious damage to enamel or silver. Closes securely with Horners\' usual C clasp.

I respectfully ask that buyers appreciate when offerding that these are preloved items (unless stated as new) and will show signs of use. They will all be clean but may have been stored for a while. Please study the pictures carefully as they form part of the description and can often give a better idea of condition. As everybody\'s idea of what is acceptable wear & tear is different, I will try and give an overview of condition in comparison with a new item, and in particular I will try to note any major damage.

❤️ COLOUR 💜

I know it is really annoying when an item is not the colour you expect: Colours can vary in different light and on different monitors; people call colours by different names; and says use a common term in the title to get noticed, eg. purple, rather than plum or damson etc! So I will try take some photos in natural light, and only use flash to highlight detail (which can be especially necessary on dark items) and I will note which photo is closest to the true colour.

Having been an buyer for several years, you get a nice feeling when you have had good service; conversely when it is bad, it can really give you the hump! Now as a (new) seller I hope to transfer that knowledge into giving my buyers a good experience -so you will give good response and hopefully want to come back again

Payment:

• PayPal, or cash on collection.

• Please pay within 3 days. (Unless offerding on further items - see combined shipping below). I tend to try to post the day after my listings finished so early payment is rewarded by quick Posting. I do not go to the post office with individual items just because they have been payed for later, I will post them with my next group which will be 3 or 4 days later.

P&P:

• I do not aim to make a profit on postage- it is charged at cost only (including the fees & Paypal charge on the P&P- really don\'t know how they get way with this!) and sometimes even subsidised. There are times when my guesstimate is wrong and I end up paying more or less for postage- so it all works out in the wash!

• No packaging cost- I will use recycled packaging wherever possible.

• Please choose the speed of delivery and level of insurance you require (I generally automatically add the cheapest option that will compensate for the expected cost):

- 1st or 2nd Class (compensated up to £20)

- 1st or 2nd Class Signed-for (compensated up to £50)

- Special Delivery next day by 1pm. (standard gives compensation up to £500, but if needed, this can be increased up to £1,000 or a maximum of £2,500 at extra cost)

• I will always obtain a Certificate of Proof of Posting.

• Items over 2Kg or over 90cm will be sent Hermes door to door, as this becomes the more economical option.

Items sent via courier are insured up to the value of £20 as standard. You may request a higher insurance value before paying and the postal cost will be adjusted accordingly.

• International Posting is via the Global Shipping Program - these prices are fixed by . Your item is trackable & will usually arrive within 10-20 days.

• I will post twice per week as necessary - as I try to end items on Wednesday or Sunday I will usually post Monday or Tuesday and Thursday or Friday, depending how quickly people pay. Occasionally there may be a delay as due to health problems I am sometimes reliant on others to go to the Post Office for me. I will let you know if it is more than 4 days. (NB. If you need something urgently, or by a specific date, message me and I will put every effort into getting it to you quickly).

• Combined Postage: Please take a look at my other items as I am happy to combine postage, just let me know if you are waiting for another listing within a reasonable time frame (up to 7 days).

Please add items to your Shopping Cart and then request combined invoice, which will include the postage discount. Postage will usually be discounted to that of the item with the highest postage rate, unless, occasionally, a higher postage tariff is needed to cover increased weight, size or value.

👆🏻 NB. DO NOT PAY SEPARATELY, because I will be charged & Paypal fees on all the postage even if I then refund part (which is quite a faddle to do!) so your discount will not be as much as it could have been. WAIT for me to send your combined invoice.👆🏻

Returns: I am a private seller trying to clear some of my clutter and hoards- from shoes, clothes and jewellery to collectibles and antiques. So I really don\'t want things revolving back again because someone has changed their mind or an item doesn\'t fit! So please ensure you ask any relevant questions before you offer.

But mistakes can happen- if I have made a significant error in the listing then please message me (rather than opening an case), and we can try to sort it out in a friendly manner. I think it is only fair that if I have made a serious error then I should pay the return postage (I don\'t agree with sellers expecting the buyer to pay when it is the sellers mistake!).
