This is a very rare doll. It is a Cheerful Cherub doll by Joseph Kallus. These dolls are very much like the Kewpie dolls and there is a good reason because Joseph Kallus worked with Rose O\'Neill from the age of 17 until his death at 89. He sculpted many of the Kewpies. Not a large production of the Cheerful Cherub so these dolls are extremely rare. This doll does have some crazing on her head and a crack but the head is in tact. The body is in tact with not rips. This doll was purchased at an estate sale where the lady was a doll collector. She is so sweet and needs a new home where she will be cared for and cherished. She will be shipped and packed carefully and insured for the amount of purchase.
