Up for sale is this fully factoryrestored Chelsea Ship clock that was typically mounted on a bulkhead on aship\'s bridge, quarter deck, or in a wardroom. It has a 6 inch black over brassdial with a 5 1/2” viewing area, and heavy forged brass case of pre World WarTwo vintage which is the standard deck clock case of that era (It was due tothe excellent conditions of the exposure to the salt water Environment). The spadehands are semi-gloss black. A wheel type fast/slow regulator is below the 12position which is marked for black-out recognition by an additional round dotunder. This clock was received in a state of disrepair and not fully functional,thus returned to the Chelsea Clock Factory near Boston, MA and it’s nowregistered with the Chelsea Clock Company, now restored to its former glory andhad a two year warranty but Seller will need to contact Chelsea Clock Companyto transfer new owner’s information for their records.

It is fitted with a screw on bezel and theforged bronze case is highly polished. The movement is a 11-jeweled, 8 daytime-only movement, with a wheel type regulator. It is running well. \"MadeChelsea Clock Co. Boston, MA, USA\", is embossed below the “6“ o\'clockposition. “Deck Clock No. 3\" is below the center arbor. There are 2 set ofnumbers on the back of the case AND on the back of the work. The engravednumbers are: (Back of Case: 19288 )(Back of Brass inner works: 198687) (Note: CASE AND MOVEMENT SERIAL NUMBERSDO NOT MATCH ON THIS CLOCK. ) and also provided is the correctly fitted factorykey to the clock. Also provided, not well shown, is the round plywood mountingbase for wall hanging.
