This very large statue is an item that belonged to my late grand farther , he loved the Orient. The statue we have always known as one of the10 disciple of Buddha, Ananda was the 10th disciple of Buddha who listened to the teaching of Buddha the most, he was the cousin of Buddha and took care ofBuddha until he died. The statue is bronze withcopper plate sealing the base, the bronze is cast as you can see under one of the hands it showa hole.
