Jadeite plaque if of a mottled light gray-green and off-white color with a small area of tan, nice translucent quality and natural veins throughout. Of rectangular form decorated with a peony blossom, bud and leaves. The design is well polished against a matt ground surrounded by a polished raised border. Plaque mounted within the lid of a carved hardwood box detailed with key-fret borders.
