We are pleased to offer this very fine c1875 Chinese export silver floral punch bowl.

In the Japanese taste.

From the not often seen shop of WF.

Listed in Chan\'s 2005 text as having worked briefly in the last quarter 19th century.

The punch bowl with beautifully hand carved, unusually large royal chrysanthemum sprays. Set amidst parasol shape fan flowers. The floral medallion layered atop one another.

The work in the style of the finest Japanese Meiji period silver makers.

Never monogrammed.

This Chinese export silver floral punch bowl is just under 9 inches and weighs 26 1/2 (standard) ounces.

Hallmarked as shown.

In excellent condition. Rich, lustreous silver patina throughout. The beautiful carved floral decoration retain their original crisp, vibrant detail. Stands firm on table. Stand not included.
