Single CES covered mug Christies, NYC April 23 2016 for $22,500 USD. Tapering form. Center with period engraved crest, for the original owner of this set. A swan\'s head erased with crown of a Duke.
Double wall construction. Elaborately carved battling warrior, and Chinese court, garden scenes. Dozens upon dozens of figures, each unique, in activities of war and peace.
Finials slightly different.
Mugs each about 6 inches and the set 32 3/4 standard ounces.
Hallmarked as shown. Cutshing\'s early conjoined CU mark and English pseudo marks.
In excellent condition. Rich, lustreous silver patina throughout. The elaborately carved warrior in battle and court scenes retain their original crisp, vibrant detail. Many of the faces on the figures with detail retained.Massachusetts residents are subject to sales tax.
