Thank you for looking into our sale of a CHINESE HAND-KNOTTED 100% SILK ART RUG IN TREE OF LIFE PATTERN. We bought this rug while on a tour of China back in 2004. We brought it home in our suitcase, and it had been hanging on our wall, as a piece of art, until about 2 years ago. We decided to take it down and sell it, if we could, as we were planning to move to a smaller home. The rug is in fine, like-new condition. The photos don\'t do it justice because of the reflective light on it. The pattern is very clear, and it is especially clear on the back of the carpet, as can be seen in one of the last photos. The pattern contains a large tree in the center, along with a stream and a number of people and animals all around the area. The rug measures approximately 45 inches long, including 3 inches of fringe on both ends, and 31 inches wide..
If you become the winning buyer in more than one of our sales, contact us, and we will try to combine your items for shipping, in order to reduce the overall costs of shipping the items to you.
We prefer to ship by USPS Priority mail, but we are willing to ship by Parcel Post if the winning buyer requests it. In that case, however, we would want to have the package insured, and we would also want to have Confirmation of Delivery from the Post Office. Both of these items would add a slightly to the base Parcel Post rate.
