This is a Chinese imari bowl, circa 1700\'s. Decorated in underglaze blue with flying phoenix, endless know Kangxi mark to the base & lotus to the interior. Decorated in overglaze red, black, green enamels depicting Dutch / European trader figures, Chinese ladies, running stags to the interior & base
CONDITIONlimescale deposit to the inside, small firing fault to the inside rim (looks like a hairline but it is not visible on the exterior), small chip to the inside of the foot rim, fleabite to the outer rim.
The overall condition is as you would expect from an object of substantial age that has been displayed/handled/used, usually over the lifetimes of several owners.
