Here is a charming plate of the Guanxu era (1875-1908), with Guanxu mark. The three color decoration shows the traditional crane, associated with immortality, standing among the reeds and flowers of wetlands.
The plate measures 10” in diameter and is somewhat deep sided, standing 1 5/8” high. All of the photos reveal the undamaged condition of the piece. Photo 6 shows a normal slight irregularity in the glaze.
