Depicts a battle scene at Hankow (Wuchang) during the revolutionwhich led to the collapse
of the Qing Dynasty and the establishment ofthe Republic of China.
The print shows a battle between the New Army and the old order with a fire in the background.
I understand that these images were issued as posters in order to provide information
on the progress of the revolution to the general public.
Condition generally good. Some creasing overall and handling marks in the margins which
are a little ragged in places. Good clear colour. Some bleed on reverse.
Size. 29 x 47 cms (image). 37 x 54 (overall).
