A lovely Chinese tea pot in red clay.The tea pot features an incised Chinese script word design on one side and a stylised Bamboo leaf design on the other side. The handle on the lid and the spout have an organic \'branch\' style.We don\'t know who made the tea pot or how old it is. There are no maker\'s marks on the base - although there is what might be a monogram signature just under the spout (see photo 6).In nice, vintage condition, there are some minor signs of age and use - fine scratches on the base, some small imperfections in the potting which include some tiny firing cracks - but nothing too bad. There are no chips or breaks.
