This is a wonderful majolica style plate with applied leaves and cherries with stems. The white scalloped rim plate measures 9.5“ wide. Except for being a little dusty, it is in excellent condition. The back is hand signed “Christine Viennet France”.

This plate was made by renowned artist Christine Viennet of Beziers, France. Viennet is inspired and influenced by the work of Bernard Palissy. Her work has been shown in museums and other exhibitions worldwide.
