This antique Santa was reproduced on pure silk from a turn of the century chromo-lithograph and marked with circa date to indicate the time that Santa appeared as this likeness.
The Santa on silk collection contains 12 authentic reproductions. His name and image has changed with time and differed in various cultures but his generous spirit continues. The name by which each Santa was known is listed on the box.This particular ornament is circa 1913 and Santa was represented as Daddy Xmas. On one side is the Santa image and on the other is a 1988 in glitter.
