This Art Deco silverplated cubist squirrel-form bowl was designed in 1931 by Antoinette de Ribes (1892-1972) for Christofle. Though it has been copied, this Christofle bowl is fully hallmarked, and appears in the book \"The World of Art Deco\" by Von Bevis Hiller for the Minneapolis Institute of Art.

Very well cared for, this iconic squirrel bowl measures 4\" tall x 4\" long x 2 1/2\" wide. Marked Christofle with OC scales and IOC rook. A highly collectible piece in exceptionally fine condition.
