Grover tuners are what were put on most American guitars from themid1920\'sPre-World War 2era and up to the late 1950\'s. This is the exact brand of Grovers thatcame from the factoryon many of those old guitars that were made in the United States. The correct and full name for this brand of tuners are called \"Grover Sta-tite round button 98\'s.\"The company Grover has beenmakingtunerssince 1922 and they still make theseopen backSta-tite tunerstoday.Islowly spend several weeks of time in my shoptoage and antique theirtuners with a natural and soft patina. I would also like to share a massage aboutmy craft and the wrapping and packaging I use. When workingboth in my shop and in my home, I try to recycle everythingI can. It\'s NOT a political statement, nor a new \"hip\"trend Ifollow. Ipersonallyhate throwing away large amounts of plastic and cardboard garbage.
Even the guitars I build are made from left over old cigar boxes. It\'s not just what I do, but who I am as a person. I get great satisfaction when Ireuse things. I try to reuse cardboard and bubble wrap anytime it\'s possible, I take pride in that fact. I would be embarrassed to send you useless plastic or wastefulwrapping material that is just raw garbage. It will have no use and will only end up in a landfill, or worse, somewhere else!
