Offered here is a gorgeous, gorgeous excellent condition \"Leather\" fire place screen. We have had this over 20 years and paid over $800 for it so not cheap and not a remake or fake. this is an original early 1900\'s (Not sure exact dating) fire place screen. It shows vivid dark greens and royal blues and as you can see from pictures is in excellent condition with no rips, tears or just problems.
I am a baseball person and not a furniture person but we had this in our living room for many years and we are now redecorating?? Anyway, all original leather with a blank back leather and the only flaw I can see if the leather does have crackling from age in it see pictures.
The hand painted floral picture is still vivid and well gorgeous to see. the mahogany stand is also in pristine condition and all original. the piece measures 36 inches tall by 36 inches wide and I was told when I purchased it from the early 1900\'s possibly teens.
