For sale is an original civil war pocket powder flask used for colt and Remington pistol. The spout design, motif and build quality points to manufacture by The American Cap and Flask Company. This copper and brass flask shows all the authentic signs of use, including surface wear, and patina. The spring in theactuator/powder release has fallen into the powder flask. See photos for exact condition. Flask bulb has no dents. The two sided eagle detail is in good condition and most of the letters are still legible. The top screws are still there.
