THIS BUTTON IS IN DUG CONDITION AND WAS EXCAVATED ON THE SIDE OF MISSIONARY RIDGE. IT WAS A GREAT VICTORY FOR THE UNION ARMY AFTER SUCH A HORRIFIC DEFEAT AT CHICKAMAUGA. HAS A PRETTY BROWN PATINA, AND STILL HAS FULL SHANK. YOU CAN MAKE OUT \"EXTRA QUALITY\" BACK MARK WITH A LOOP. THIS IS FROM MY PRIVATE COLLECTION, WAS DUG ALONG WITH MANY OTHER RELICS IN NORTH GEORGIA IN THE EARLY 1990\'S ON PRIVATE PROPERTY W/PERMISSION. A VERY PRETTY BUTTON AND WOULD LOOK GREAT IN DUG BUTTON COLLECTION....SEE PICTURES FOR CONDITION...AS ALWAYS NO SHIPPING CHARGE!
