You are purchasing a 1st Edition copy of Admiral Porter\'s, INCIDENTS AND ANECDOTES OF THE CIVIL WAR, published in 1885 by D. Appleton and Company, New York. This 357 page autobiographical work by Admiral Porter describes the Civil War events and actions through the eyes of a Union Admiral.
The volume is in Good + Condition. Being 132 years old, there is some age wear. The binding is beginning to tear at both the front and back cover, but solidly intact at this time. The pages are solid with no tears or markings. The spine shows a Dewey Decimal Classification System number marking at the bottom and minor wear rubs at the top and bottom.
