original civil war tintype image of a seated union soldier with his hand on the bible. the tintype was found without case with many others in very good condition on a recent old farm house clean out. there is no identification on the backside of the tintype photo, the image has been hand tinted showing the union blue trousers being worn and the gold wedding band on his finger along with the gold buttons of his uniform.
