This sale is for civil war relic dug 2 officer staff cuff buttons. On the front of the buttons looks like the word \"excelsior\". I can not tell what is written on the back of the buttons. The buttons are in fair to good condition. One of them the back is missing because it fell apart in my hands the other day when I was trying to pick it up.
These buttons were found by my dad in Eastern North Carolina on one of his many treasure hunting trips. He found most of his items in Lenoir and Craven Counties. He was an avid history buff and loved anything old. His main love was the civil war, but he collected anything that reminded him of his childhood.
In the next few weeks, I will be selling more of my dad\'s collection. All the proceeds will be going back to my mom for living expenses.
